How does this app compares to Jimdo Creator for iPhone?
Jimdo Creator app for iPad is a zoomed version of Jimdo app for iPhone. The app can be used in both portrait and landscape modes. The app does not add any feature compare to iPhone. It means that you cannot create nor edit videos, columns... that are available on the computer version. It's a shame because nowadays many people use iPads as substitutes for laptops.
A challenging landscape mode
If the hero header picture is large, then, in landscape mode, you will need to scroll down each time you want to edit your content. If you try to switch Jimdo editor to mobile phone mode, you won't need to scroll anymore, but you are loosing the benefit of having an iPad.

unless you switch Jimdo app to the iPhone mode.
Some screens which look nice on the iPhone app, look odd in the iPad app.
In the bottom bar, there are 2 somehow mysterious lateral icons: < and >. They tend to close the lateral menus. I would have prefer that the lateral menus remain open all the time. Actually, the header is so big that its difficult to remember what is the page you are currently editing (especially when you have not much content yet in your website).
As the various screens of Jimdo website builder have not been optimized for iPad, you sometime get an experience that is poorer than the experience you get on an iPhone.
