How does this app compares to Crayon for iPhone?

Crayon app for iPad is a zoomed version of Crayon app for iPhone. The app can only be used in portrait mode. The app does not make good use of the additional screen room that is available on an iPad:

  • Some icons are too big, especially in the "Top" screen.
  • The left-hand side menu has to be called each time with a hamburger, and when you call it, the right side of the main working area gets hidden. It would have been wiser to let the left-hand side menu open and to slightly reduce the width of the main working area.
  • No function is added in the text editor: no bold font, no bigger font, no italic font, no linking capability. Most iPad users expect more from a text editor.
